Who is DAVE QUINN

Founder and Head Coach (Sensei) for United Judo Clubs - Great Britain. Dave (Elvis) Quinn a Black Belt 5th Dan was awarded (in 2014) a Red & White Belt 6th Dan with the British Judo Association.

David Quinn is a professional photographer shooting for Charities and Voluntary Organisations and Our-Wedding-Photographers.com for over 30 years. Also supplying computers to under privileged children's organisations or organisations that would not otherwise be able to afford them. And also producing free websites for www.MyPreSchool.co.uk

Dave takes pictures around the world at top level Judo Championships. Including many World Championships and Commonwealth Games. Dave Quinn is a National Judo Referee in Great Britain and a British Judo Association Registered Coach.

He was a competitive judo 5th Dan Black Belt. That is the highest possible grade that can be achieved as a competitor.

Despite a horrific judo injury that left him paralysed in one arm, he mapped out a plan of recovery which after 5 years found him winning Gold Medal in the World Masters Judo Championships held in Canada 2010 and then won Gold in the British Masters Championships 2011 & 2014. Internationally he also won Gold in the Hungarian Masters Open Judo Championships 2014.

Dave is on the British Judo Associations Kent Judo Committee and also the B.J.A. 'Masters Commission'. The backbone supporting judoka from the ages 30 years +.

Dave is also affectionately known as Dave 'Elvis' Quinn and has performed around the world as an Elvis Presley Tribute Singer. He has performed in Canada, America, India, Luxemburg, Ireland, Turkey, Italy, England and more. Long standing member of Equity. Stage Name - Elvis England.
